Dr. Hatfield will always begin with a comprehensive assessment of the lesion. If it appears suspicious or the diagnosis is in question, a biopsy and/or consultation with a dermatologist will be recommended.

Options for benign lesion removal at our clinic are Erbium:YAG laser or Plexr PLUS Plasma Pen. Both modes allow complete removal of the lesion with less potential for scarring than excision. Treatments are done with local anesthetic to minimize any potential for pain.
