Meet Dr. Hatfield
Dr. Christine Hatfield is a popular health and wellness speaker and an expert in healthy ageing. Blending the principles of conventional and functional medicine, she guides her clients towards optimal health.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Dr. Hatfield studied Biology at Acadia University and was awarded a Bachelors of Science with Honors. She moved to London, Ontario in the early 90’s to study medicine at the University of Western Ontario and graduated with a prize in Preventative Medicine.
A licensed and experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Dr. Hatfield spent many years dedicated to women’s health before developing a keen interest in functional medicine. This practice allows her to treat the cause and not just the symptoms of illness.
She has dedicated more than 10 years of additional study and practice to develop her expertise in lifestyle and longevity medicine for both women and men, including training with the American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine and The Institute for Functional Medicine. She was the first to offer laser vaginal rejuvenation in the Okanagan, a treatment that will revolutionize women’s pelvic floor health.
Her areas of expertise include bio-identical hormone therapy for women and men, weight loss, management of pelvic floor relaxation syndromes, cosmetic injectables and aesthetic laser.
Outside of work, Dr. Hatfield enjoys photo scrapbooking, Pilates, spoiling her cats, and traveling with her husband and three daughters.
Dr. Hatfield remains a member in good standing of:
